So beautiful! Lake Superior is so amazing. The hotel we stayed at was really cool too. I got a new pair of baltic amber earrings; the pair I've been wanting forever! As it turns out, the artist that makes them lives around here somewhere! So cool! She used to live in Poland, but she moved to MN. How awesome is that? I wonder what sacrifices she's had to make in order to move to the U.S.? Maybe I can ask her sometime... ;)

Woo Hoo!

Yes! I think it's finally... DONE!! Yay; here's the link to my brand-new fanfiction short story.
But first; things you need to know:

• You need the background on this story. If you haven't seen the first four seasons of Doctor Who, you probably should before you read this story. It's imperative that you know what's going on so that you can simply enjoy the telling of this original story.
• I don't own Doctor Who, so I won't be selling this story. It's for fun only.
• This is the second story I've ever completely finished, and the first that has worked for me. I'm very impressed with it.
• There may still be things that need fixing, and I'd appreciate feedback in the form of reviews. The reviews are anonymous, so all you need do is put your first name. I would love to know what you think of my first successful story.

I finally, finally got my story on fanfiction.net. Woo-hoo! Too bad it still won't be available to the public for eight hours... Oh well. I'll post the link tomorrow.

Doctor Who, Again

Okay, definitely a Doctor Who aficionado now. I love Doctor Who! When I heard of a site called fanficiton.net from a friend, I checked out the section on Doctor Who right away and found a story I liked so much that I was inspired to write my own fanfiction story. It's completed, but not on fanfiction.net as of yet. I got an account and activated it, but there is apparently a two-day wait before users are allowed to post stories. I'll post a link to my story when I get it on fanfiction. Stay tuned!

The picture at the top of my blog is a very big step in my art .  I was inspired by a porcelain doll I got in South Dakota ,  and the picture I drew of her is almost a replica ,  except that I made her older than the doll looks .  She's beautiful .  Please comment .

The Longest Project EVER

I did a sketch for an oil painting on the 23 of January .  Just the sketch .  There are so many different things needed for making this painting .  I'm getting closer ,  though .  I'm on about the 28th thing out of 100 ,  figuratively .  ; D  Here are the more interesting steps for anyone who cares to see.







Summertime...

Love it .  Every day there is something that needs organizing .  Every day there is a time sacrifice to make .  I would have liked to be lazy ,  but at this very moment ,  I sit at the computer surrounded by piles of paper that must be organized and cannot be recycled .  (Egad ,  the thought of wasting paper!) But we have so many pads of paper that we will NEVER use them all! Oh well ;  it builds character.  I'll be lazy later .  :)

Doctor Who?

Favorite episode :  The End of the World? Not sure , but we just re-watched it and I like it a lot .  Re-watching other episodes isn't as rewarding as this one ,  and it's got my favorite Doctor in it .  What's your favorite episode of the season with Christopher Eccleston?
